It starts to open and then abruptly closes. The windows pending restart window pops up after the KB Cumulative Update finishes installing. If you restart at that point then the next pending Cumulative Update KB fails and you have to do this portion KB and KB of the update process all over again. This problem has occurred at least twice now and maybe the last 3 windows updates. This adds another hour or more to the update process.
